I'm Glad you're here!

"There are times when life calls for us to evolve. Navigating change can be scary and challenging. There are barriers that we experience that limit our ability to identify and implement the necessary changes needed to live a rewarding and fulfilling life at peace. These barriers could include emotional and relational concerns, past and present trauma and socio-economic factors.  As a licensed clinical social worker, I work alongside my clients to overcome these barriers. Empathy, care, support and ethics are my core values. I understand the importance of individualized and personable care. I work to build a healthy therapeutic relationship and space of trust as we to work to learn ways to independently implement steps needed to achieve current and future goals. My clinical approach involves using an individualized combination of evidenced- based interventions to address and minimize the effects of the barriers that impede on people’s ability to live life on their terms.  If life’s difficulties and unfortunate circumstances have you feeling down or stuck, let’s work together to address these difficulties and create changes in your thoughts, feelings and actions to lead to growth and the evolution of your best self!"   Andrea Smith, LCSW
